Type FER1 by Louden valves from The Fellows Magneto Company. The Magneto of London lasted only three years in business from 1924 to 1927.

The valve you see here are very rare stamped BBC in red print with FER1 on base both top pip.

The Marconi DE5A balloon and top pip are dull emitters triode designed to be used as audio output valve.
