Description
The P2 can be considered the sister of P1 both made by Cossor.
The P2 made by Cossor here shown have metal base with red paint around the Pip and it is the first of its kind being made in 1922. The P1 and P2 are bright emitter without getter.
The brown base or bakelite of the P2’s has a semi-circle anode shape where filaments are located inside this ‘structure’ makes it suitable for a correct working order, no spring and no hooks to make filament tight. The P2 was made for H.F. amplifier. Tested and in working order.
