Description

The valve for sale here is a rare early Mazda EDISWAN type NT36 used in the British Navy. The commercial type is DA100.

This is the tall version of the NT36 DA100 and the earliest ever made showing  a  top pip well sealed.  The Ediswan NT36  DA100  is a power amplifying triode with directly heated filament suitable for use in the output stage of an amplifier.

The NT36 is designed for adequate power output and reliable service for  cinemas,  public address and the Navy.

The NT36 is mainly an audio valve suitable for operation in push-pull circuit in which a greatly increased power output is obtained with suitable circuit arrangement.

The NT36 has molybdenum electrodes and oxide-coated filament; Anode/plate is thick and well crafted.
