Description

The Marconi DET1 was first launched in 1924 and according to the MO-V literature it is considered the very first dull emitter valve made in the UK, having thoriated filament, it was used for airborne transmitting and later for public address use.

There are two versions of this stunning valve.

The round top one you see here dated later than the Top Pip L4 base you can check on this website too.

It is a 6 volts heater valve with a max Anode voltage of 1,000.

Amplification factor 11.

Mutual conductance 1.7.

The valve you see here are dated early 1930s.

Both in excellent shape and working order.
