Mullard CV1075 KT66 6L6G shouldered shape £ 800 quartet

Description

The 6L6(G) was one of the most iconic valves ever made.

Described  as a powerful audio beam tetrode, it was used for audio amplifiers and modulated transmitters as well as in large radiogram and guitar amplifiers

The 6L6(G) saw the light in the mid 30s.

This section shows quartets of 6L6G including rare Mullard, CV1947, Cossor, Brimar etc.

The 6L6G is quite similar to a KT66

Heater 6.3 Volts Anode and Screen set at 350 and 250 Volts; Grid  -18 good current from 54mA with mA/V of 5.2
