R2 Micromesh STC Standard Telephones and Cables black plate balloon rectifiers

Description

Here is another stunning pair of black plate 1932 rectifiers made by STC Micromesh type R2.

Such a masterpiece of a valve with slanted anode at 45 degrees, insulated filaments and cathode connected together at the top.  The Filaments are insulated.

Plate is black/carbon version of these R2, tested 100% emission and working order.
