The 6L6(G) was one of the most iconic valves ever made.
Described as a powerful audio beam tetrode, it was used for audio amplifiers and modulated transmitters as well as in large radiogram and guitar amplifiers
The 6L6(G) saw the light in the mid 30s.

The 6L6G is quite similar to a KT66
Heater 6.3 Volts Anode and Screen set at 350 and 250 Volts; Grid -18 good current from 54mA with mA/V of 5.2
Westinghouse 6L6G with red print, among the best 6L6G ever made, come with smoked glass and Square getter, made in the 1950s. All four valves have W code on base.
Tested with AVO VCM 163 at 60mA 62mA 61mA 63mA 100% emission
