Description

The Brimar 5R4GY is one of the best valves made by the famous British company which was also part of STC.

The CV717 is a special limited edition valve.

Like all vintage valves back those days there were different variations made over the decades, we try to grab what we can!

The Brimar 5R4GY is a high voltage rectifier, with a rating stated by Brimar at 180 Watts

Unlike the US made, the UK made Brimar  have ribbed plate with ribbon filament supported by spring.

The CV717 here shown are type KB/FB on base and have square getter, early type.
