Körting HEW I Excello pair Klangfilm Cinema Amplifiers with Telefunken RV239 tubes – RGN 1404

Description

Körting Radio Werke GmbH was a manufacturer of radio and television sets based in Grassau, Chiemgau. Its origins went back to a Leipzig lighting company founded in 1889, whose capital investment was used to found Dr Dietz & Ritter in 1925, which began building radio receivers under the Körting brand in 1932.

The amplifiers here shown are stunning and super rare.

Bear in mind it is almost impossible to find a pair of Körting HEW I amplifiers these days!

Each Körting HEW I amplifier works with a pair of  Telefunken triode RV239 tested 100% and a pair of Telefunken RGN 1404 rectifiers.

The Körting HEW I are cinema amplifiers therefore they need an amplified input signal and that is what you see on top of  both amplifiers. A pre-amplifier that has to be connected to both HEW I in order for them to function.

Weight circa 28 kilos each. Output impedance 15 Ohm
