Description
The Marconi Osram LS5 is a dull emitter made by the MOV and it was made as A.F, amplifier. By a closer inspection of the valve, filament is like a V letter and on top it is held by a spring wire with flattened anode . The valve was used in output stage of amplifiers able to give around 9,5/10 watts.
The LS5A made by the MOV is dull emitter for audio amplification.
Introduced in 1924 with a metal base. The LS5A has lower impedance, then giving greater output power.
